Don't Send a Man to the Grocery Store!
Have you had your belly laugh today? Medical authorities reiterate how important it is to laugh much. Even the Bible tells us "A cheerful heart is good medicine..." - Proverbs 17:22a
When I came across this video, I just had to laugh out loud at her story and way of looking at things, as well as her delivery. Jeanne Robertson is a humorist I've recently come to appreciate with a gracious southern woman's perspective. Not only is she one of the top speakers with the National Speakers Association (of which I'm a member), but she's a former Miss North Carolina and is involved in giving back through her speaking and other projects.
Once I viewed this video, I had to review a few more and check out her website. It was a 30 minute break in my day that actually inspired and empowered me, and even helped my health through the "laugh oxygen" it generated!
Share it and spread the good "medicine" with your friends!

Currently I am a business leader, educator, coach, author, speaker, artist, songwriter, mother of two, and grandmother of one.
I have been reaching out to encourage others as long as I can remember. I grew up a minister’s daughter, the oldest of five children, living in Southern Ontario, Canada and Virginia Beach, Virginia.Through the years and all the ups and downs of life, my passion has become teaching and leading others along paths I have forged through pain, loss, self-discovery and ultimately God-discovery.
I strive to live my faith in everyday situations, encouraging and inspiring others along the way. Whether through my past career in Financial Services, serving as president of various professional and civic organizations, ministering through music and teaching in church and community, or in teaching Impressionist oil painting techniques at my fine art school, I stay engaged in life as I continue to point others to a loving and involved God they can know personally.
